Shop With A Cop creates positive incentives for children to want to read and learn; while building a bridge with the law enforcement community.  As a by-product of this, I also feel the law enforcement officers that attend events and volunteer get acknowledged for their hard work (which is so needed in recent years).  The founders, Darrel and Alicia Cortez are so dedicated to their mission that it makes me want to help out through volunteering and donating.
