This week is National  Read Across America, the birthday of Dr. Seuss (March 2nd). An initiative on reading created by the National Education Association. This awareness day calls all children and youth in every community across the United States to celebrate reading. It encourages them to read where ever they are.

Today your  Shop With a Cop /Badges for Education was honored to be a part of this great event. We volunteered to read books to students and donated prizes to our adopted school “Santee Elementary”.
These kids love to read and are on the path to great things!
