The Shop with a Cop program has truly impacted the students at my school.

They have interacted with our students in a variety of fun activities including pizza parties, ice cream parties, dodge ball games,
book giveaways summer school programs, and most notability their
holiday shopping spree.

Through their interactions with local law enforcement, students build relationships with officers and see that the law enforcement officers are more than just a badge and a uniform. They see that
they are friends that they can count on to keep them and their
community safe.

The Shop with a Cop program has created an incentive based reading program that encourages students at my school to develop a passion for reading. SWAC knows that reading is a life long skill that students will need in order access higher level education and careers, so by fostering the desire to read SWAC is investing into the futures of each of our students.
